Cabinet Office

The Cabinet Office is the parent portfolio of the Freedom of Information Unit. It embodies the principles of transparency and openness in the public interest. The Cabinet Secretary leads the response to decisions concerning governmental policy in the weekly Cabinet meetings. The Cabinet Office includes a number of sections and departments whose work has cross-governmental scope. Includes the Immigration Appeals Tribunal and Tax Undertakings.
