Cayman's Indian and Chinese restaurants offer meatless dishes to suit the vegetarian. Select steak houses and restaurants also serve up properly done vegetable side dishes, enough to make a meal. A few restaurants grow their own produce or go out of their way to secure locally grown or sustainable food products. There is also a large vegetarian 7th-Day Adventist population, particularly in East End. Look for their food stalls at Cayman's street fairs during Pirates Week and Batabano. A visit to the Market at the Grounds every Saturday in Savannah will help you stock your refrigerator with local produce.
