The CINA enables good recordkeeping across the public sector and manages, preserves and provides access to the documentary heritage of the Cayman Islands. It also manages, preserves and provides access to the documentary heritage of the Cayman Islands through its archive and library collections. It consists of several units including Archive & Records, Preservation, Records Policy Unit and Reprographics Unit.
