Police Service - Training Department

The Training Department delivers training that provides the necessary skills and enables staff development. Much of the training is delivered by RCIPS staff including the initial recruits course. Other training takes place internationally with specialist courses delivered in the Caribbean, the USA and the United Kingdom. In addition, the investigators’ course covers all aspects of the investigative process including interviewing skills, forensic and scene management skills and working with the media.
