Police Service - Financial Crime Unit

The FCU is the arm of the RCIPS with responsibility for investigating financial crimes within the Cayman Islands. The identify the proceeds from crime and drugs trafficking with a view of obtaining restraint and confiscation orders to relieve the criminals of their ill-gotten gains. They also assist colleagues and partners such as the Finance Action Task Force, Caribbean Financial Action Task Force, Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development, International Monetary Fund etc., in the fight with respect to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT).
