Immigration, Department of

The Immigration Department manages the growth of the country’s population by regulating the flow of immigrants into the islands and carries out administrative processing of applications for persons seeking permanent residence, Caymanian status, the right to work in Cayman, or asylum. It has offices on Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac, and also operates Visa Offices in Jamaica and Honduras.
