Freedom of Information Unit

The FOI Unit was formed to lead and coordinate the implementation of the FOI Law and Regulations across the whole of the public sector by analysing, formulating and disseminating policies, procedures,
benchmarks and guidelines applicable to the Cayman Islands Public Sector. It is the legal right of residents to see or obtain copies of records held by public authorities in the Cayman Islands. The Law's objectives are to promote accountability and transparency in Government decision-making and public participation.
