The ERD endeavours to develop a highly skilled, productive workforce that is able to compete effectively in the global economy through advising, educating and training, and promoting of harmonious labour relations. The department offers conciliation and mediation, inspection and compliance, job placement, human resource development, local and overseas scholarships and small business development.
